THE BEST weather app by far. This is the only one I have used that comes close to displaying the actual weather in my area. All the other apps I've tried have inaccuracies of up to 10 degrees, and say it's raining when it's not. The choice of weather providers is a big plus, as you can decide which is most accurate for your area. For me, in the US intermountain west, both MET NORWAY and DARK SKY seem to be the best. The display layout is easy to read and there are many options to customize it.

This is really a great weather app. Works smoothly. I did have a little hiccup with one of the widgets where it wouldn't respond to a click access to the full app but it works fine now after reinstalling the widget. This just might be one of my favorite weather apps of all time. It's definitely a 5 star app for now. Not had it long so I am still reviewing it.

I really like this weather app much better than the one that came installed in my phone. I love how you can customize the page with what details you want to see. However, I found out that when I turn my phone off, when I turn it back on the widget on my home page turns into just a clock and it won't access the weather app. So I had to go and create a widget all over again, but the app is still set how I had it. Can you fix this minor bug?

I've used the Big 3 weather apps over the past few years, but they were never able to deliver all of the information that was important to me. Either they focused on their Home Area too much, didn't have a decent radar map or their app didn't have an style. It was just blah. However, so far this app seems to deliver. I check the weather conditions constantly, especially this time of the year. Keep up the good work and I'll keep the 5 star rating! π

Nothing else is even close. Wish I'd have found it 10 years ago. I'd give this 6 stars. Put it this way,there's a donate option and I'm going to donate and remove my Google and another paid for weather app. Now I have to see if the clock works as alarm clock as I haven't gotten that far yet. If it doesn't it should! Hope the devepor is reading this.

Tried the app January 2021, so far so good, easy set up, great features, best of all free and it works! Update; I have been using the app 5 months now without any issues. I have it installed on my tablet, I use the tablet everyday. As a result I have seen the app in action daily, it has worked flawlessly! Highly recommended.

After finding out that you have to scroll down for the rest of the app it turned into a beautiful app! It may have said that in some kind of tutorial in the beginning and I just skimmed over it. If not, that would be my only recommendation just have some indicator on the way the app is set up. After that, it's truly a sleek UI, well done!

I've tried several weather/clock apps and I always seem to come back to weawow. It's probably the accuracy, the useful widgets (I really like the clock), a beautiful look and, oh, no ads! It's simple to set up and functions unabtrusively. It's actually better than what came installed in my last 3 android phones. Give it a try. You can always uninstall it, but I bet you won't.π

Beautiful and informative weather app. I have used many weather apps in the past .... AccuWeather, Weather Network to Wunderground; this one provides all the info I want in a simple, clean and attractive interface. Weather forecasts really shouldn't be that difficult, but other apps tend to bundle their services with so much other junk like news, related content, or perhaps they don't provide a clean widget with a 7 day outlook. wOw does it all....pls don't change!

The only thing I would like to see is just putting the city name for widget location, not the actual address number that's close to where I am. Other than that great app! Not overly complicated and gets to the point! Easy on the eyes. Not bright and there's no over use of cards like other weather apps. Well done!!

I love this weather app! Easy to use and beautiful. It gives me all the info I need in a clean format, and the photos are beautiful. Settings allow me to easily personalize the info I see, and leave out stuff I'm not interested in seeing every day. And no ads! Fantastic! Makes me happy to donate.

So far I like it, even though it seems a little busy. Lots of information plus a background photo that is hard for me to wade through. The thing that I really am disliking is that it sends a push notification every however long I set it for in order to have the current temp on the top bar, but it sends ALL the weather info to my Garmin watch every time it updates the temp. My last weather app didn't do that (WeatherBug). I'd like to not get that notification on my watch ever.

This is without a doubt the best weather app I've ever came across. It gives information that most other apps don't possess such as a weather map, air quality and pressure, carbon levels. Even allows you to change you weather provider (MET, Weatherbit, Darksky) and much more. Definitely recommend using this app over your current or built in weather app.

I love what the devs are doing with this. It's just the weather, neatly laid out, and nothing more. Widget options are great and I really enjoy the photos. At some point they fixed the accuracy issues, and now it's my preferred weather source. Love the customization options for the main layout as well. I'd highly recommend it, especially since it's free and has no ads.

Awesome, nearly perfect. Packed with so many features and customization... With no ads or "weather news", just weather and details! Widgets are nice, but I wish there was one with current info (temp icon and precip chance) and the week ahead (temp icon and precip chance) in a 4x2. Would also like adding weather.gov/NOAA as a weather source would be great! But everything else is great, 5 starred and donated, keep up the great work!

Great weather app! My favorite. Weather widgets can show estimated inches of rain by hour, day which is great since % precip stuff is annoying. Forecast and radar go out for days (of course predictions become more dicey the farther out). The radar display is great. Future days' summaries divide estimated weather, inches precip, etc into 4 6-hour segments. Very clear. Easy to use and digest.

It is amazing that the big weather providers seem incapable of coding a good app. Like others have found, this one is the best all around and it even gives you a choice of weather data providers if you find one more accurate for your area. But the interface, widgets and fluid UI are well worth a 5. And no Ads!

~ one of THE BEST weather apps out there! ~ I used 1Weather for several years (and) went Pro with it (because I like it that much) after awhile I wanted to see if I could possibly improve on it and save some space on my device and see if I can find an alternative. ~ After some searching, I found this one recommended on YT, so I decided to try (both) side-by-side and see how they compare. ~ Its very accurate for my location with no issues seen. ~ it has everything I need to get the weather for my location (west texas desert region) and it delivers! ~ so after a few days of side-by-side comparisons, 1weather was uninstalled and this one is now my primary - "go to!" ~ I would like to see (implemented in the future) is to be able to use separate sound notifications, when certain weather events occur (like storm, snow, rain, alerts, warnings) - like the icons popping up with a custom sound to be attached to each individually to know the level of the warning. (this is just a personal preference mind you) ~ Overall, a RECOMMENDED WEATHER APP thats well rounded, well thought of, that has everything I need and I'm glad I found it!

This app so far (it's new) has surpassed Weather Channel, AccuWeather, and even the NOAA app for accuracy, correct map location and asthetic appeal. I'm also very happy that they have a 5x1 widget that doesn't overwhelm my home screen. I hope they add a transparent widget so it is even less intrusive...keep going weewow guys. And PLEASE listen to ur users...NOT ur programmers...overprogramming is the ruination of most apps!

Weawow is a VERY versatile weather app. First you get the basics β temperature, an icon for rain or shine and a short description of coming weather. Scroll down for a chart displaying temps and weather icons for the next 23 hours. Immediately below, a line of buttons allows the same chart to display things like wind speed and direction. Next up, a chart shows highs and lows for each day - also with adjustable with buttons. Then a weather map (adjustable), air quality, position of the sun. Wow!

I give 5 stars x2 because that's what this app deserves. If you were to try wow you will quickly relize why I gave it 5 stars x2. There's absolutely no ads no pop up no nothing it does ask for a donation which I gave but even if you don't make a donation you still get full access regardless. You can customize the cards the way you want as for the widget you can do the same, customize the widget the way you want it. I've been using wow for a few months with no issues. I highly recommend this app.

This is amazing. This weather app is the best out there. I have tried many, and spent quite a bit, and nothing reaches the level of this app. Graphics are smooth. 100% customizable app and the widgets. Tons of information on the app but the developers have figured out how to make it simple to use. I have been so impressed, within hours of having the app I decided to donate every month automatically to the developers. 2 weeks later, I am still super impressed.

Finally a worthy successor to weather underground! It still has some rough edges here and there, but the customization and features are the best of any weather app I've used. The widget features in particular are fantastic. The map and especially radar are pretty slow and buggy, so if that's your thing look elsewhere for now, but if the developers keep heading the direction they are going, this will remain the weather app I use and recommend.

The only criticism I have is you seem to have trouble updating it because there wasn't supposed to be rain in the forecast according to the information but it's raining today thank you it's raining when you read overcast.

It's a good app. Worth downloading. I like that you can customize the layout and info on the widgets. Also, if you have a problem using this app and post about it, the developers will respond if they can help. That's nice! I would love to have a widget that would let me see the weather in more than one location at a glance. That would be a great feature to add.

As someone else stated, I too have tried a multiple of weather apps on my phone and this one by far is the best. Gives me all the information I want with none of the unwanted ads. I live in a state where weather can change at a moments notice. My native weather app just said what the weather was for the day. I like to know a good couple of days in advance. As an added bonus, the apps layout is nice. Changes constantly. Good work.

I really like this app. It's taken me awhile to get used to it after many years with The Weather Channel (T.V. & app). Sometimes it seems there is too much info and I still don't process what I see as quickly as the WC format. However, with this app, I can customize what I see and in what order. There are also nice little details of info beyond the norm. This app is better suited to people who need specific info or tend to enjoy a more analytical approach.

Accurate forecasts, clear charts, like that the also have written descriptions summarizing the daily weather. Sunrise/sunset timing plus dawn/dusk timing. Attractive layout including beautiful photography from users. Like that the temp is alwaus visible on the top righthand corner of my screen. Easy to get to. Hourly summary shows up on my vertical dropdown without having to open the full app.

Great app! Tons of data, which I find useful for hill walking and gardening. Ability to choose the data provider, so forecast is generally good. No ads, and only modest, appropriate requests for donations (I've donated). Clear display of data. Useful status bar info. My only quibble is that I'd prefer a more compact interface rather than a large photo at the top that I have to scroll past. But overall I love it!

Only weather service I download on every device since discovering it 1Β½ years ago! βοΈ it almost daily with highly accurate results, clear down to the hour / including obscure phenomenons that other weather services miss, for example predicting an hour long hailstorm in the middle of a sunny April day, totally out of the blue yet sure enough- hail the size of pennies π€ Also REALLY π€ the Sun/Moon & Sunrise/Sunset + Daylight hours count. 10/10 would recommend. I've had a hard time finding a weather app that I like, but this one is there best I've found. Not perfect, but it seems to be the most straightforward and easy to read without being as cluttered and in-user friendly in its design. I like that you could save places other than home base.

It's a pleasant, easy to read layout that is completely customizable including the weather info source. Also, no ads which makes a big difference. Long term, in terms of including between the next few days up until the rest of the month (if feasible). Long range in terms 4-6 months from now (if feasible), based on historical weather data.

I just downloaded and opened this app literally moments ago! So far I LOVE IT! Time will tell whether it's accurate or not; especially when I venture to other locations, but what I see on the app is what I see outside. EDIT: After a couple of hours, I can say it works on my tablet, but gives completely different results on my phone. (Same manufacturer) On my phone it gives my location as being 20 km away from where I am. No matter how many times I correct it, it reverts back to that Street.

Does not load my current location weather at times. Radar has poor resolution and accuracy. Will delete it when I find another weather app . I reloaded the app 4/21 and was pleasantly surprised until the google radar portion of the app stop working after 2 weeks. Despite multiple attempts they were unable to fix it. I deleated it again.

My only suggestion would be to somehow include the detailed forecasts from the NWS office. The holy grail of weather apps: Functional, beautiful, intuitive, and ad free! It has great widget options and every aspect of the app is intuitively customizable without making it complicated to use. I spent hours one evening installing and setting up various recommended weather apps, even the ones that cost more to remove ads than I was willing to pay weren't as good as Weawow. I had settled on Accuweather, and decided to try one more app, so glad I did! For the developer: I've set up an annual reminder to donate, but a yearly $10 donation option would be nice.

I really like this app, but I do have one suggestion. Try to get a better radar. Maybe it's just my area or my phone or something like that, but the graphics are jagged edges along the path that the clouds are traveling. Not to mention, sometimes there is overlap. This causes inaccuracies, such as right now - the radar shows rain, yet it is snowing. The snow is supposedly north of me.

I like Weawow's simple, uncluttered presentation. I get the information I'm looking for: high and low temperatures, chance of rain, humidity and dew point, sun rise and sun set times, radar. I would prefer to have radar that shows not only current conditions, but prefer a "loop" option so I can see what direction current conditions have come from. But considering how satisfied I am with everything else, it's tolerable.

Very good. Widgets are needlessly big (can't reduce the height only increase it) so you can't place them stacked which you need to be able to do if wanted to see precipitation, cloud cover and temp together for example. The widgets are listed as 5x2 but actually aren't. They're 5x3 for no reason. Android 11 / Pixel 4a Really good otherwise... Just be even better to have some more granular customisation.

I just installed it about a half hour ago. Checking everything out, I find that this is so very easy customizable. Currently, one can choose between two current maps, several different reporting stations, and easily move items around on the screen. Additionally, the weather reports are almost instantaneous when the app is opened. I have put this on my desktop to play around with the settings more. Best of all, no ads. If I decide to stay with it, I will definitely donate to them.

I love the apps layout and information. It's just the information is consistently wrong! Temperature is always off and not by a little. 10 to 12 degrees off, wrong weather conditions. And weather prediction is way off. Edit: I did give it a 2 star. But the developer did mention (quickly) that I could change the weather provider. Only reason it's not 5 stars, is you have to pay for the more accurate services i.e. Accuweather and others.

Now showing actual temperature. ππΌ I stiil have it after a week, so that says something. It's easy to scroll down and get all your essentials for the day. I switched off exact location and set it to city because it kept changing addresses, which is not needed anyway. Still reassuring that it's getting that close instead of just using the nearest NWS station. Shows the actual temp in the utility bar so I don't have to open. The weekly calender screen saver is also very convenient.

Just started with this app. Another weather app began to be buggy and inaccurate which was a replacement of a previous app that also became buggy and inaccurate. So far, I like WoW a lot. You will like it too. There is not much about it as the tech people get paid by bigger companies. This one smaller weather app is far better. I pray that it will continue to do well.

This app is beautiful, the photos for different weather conditions is a lovely touch (and they accept submissions too). Perhaps a silly reason to give 5 stars but I really like this, it sets the app apart. It does all the weather stuff obviously - shows Dawn and Dusk times too (as opposed to just sunrise / sunset). The only thing it's missing is moonrise and moonset, but it does give moon phases. There's not much more you could ask from a weather app to be honest.

More customizable than any of the other apps I've seen. You want choice of light/dark/mix theme? Yep. You want vertical bars for high AND low daily temperatures for the week. Yep. Do you want to rearrange the order of the weather information on your screen? Yep. Do you want to choose your weather source provider? Yep. This is much better than the other cookie-cutter apps out there.

I don't usually write reviews, but I've been hurting to find a decent weather app since darksky went ios only. This is the first weather app that hits all my requirements for 1. Decent widget showing the important details. I can open the app if I want more info. 2. More detailed info shown in app in easy to consume graphics (hourly, daily, etc). Devs thought about the user experience 3. Has an easy option for configuring the weather source (ie Darksky) 4. Willing to pay for this one.

I absolutely love this app and will continue to use it, but while there's a fair amount of providers, none of them seem to be always accurate for my location in the states. Would love to see more hyperlocalized station options or at least a Wunderground provider option. I realize it may take a fair bit of coding and work, but if this app had the option to plug in your own PWS info, this would be my favorite app in the whole store. Thank you for placing importance on photographers too!

I was a premium user of Accuweather until it got bloated and increasingly slow. I tried a few other weather apps and settled on this aptly named wOw app. I love its accuracy, speed and simplicity when I want it, details when I need them such as air quality. The pictures are lovely and alleviate boredom, but that was not what sold me. Mainly, it was the accuracy and speed, and no ads although if they add them I am willing to pay for a premium version.

I've tried a lot of the weather apps, and this is my favorite so far. The interface is very; intuitive, and a prime example of how it should be done. Not only that, it's highly configurable, even down to the level of the notification info! I only wish that the bookedmarked locations showed their current temperatures in the search drop-down. Then it would be perfect!

New to this Weather app but so far it's a pleasure. Tried both Weather Channel and AccuWeather and they were too frustrating to keep, and not as accurate. The scheme and layout for this app is easy (fast) to find what you are looking for, and very pleasing to the eye...that surprised me! Temp,extended forecast, air quality... nothing missing.You can tell a lot of effort went into making the app personal to the user. Love it so far! π

Genuinely the best and fastest weather app out there. I don't think there's even ads, it let's you pick your data source, and the UI is as smooth as butter. It's amazing. In a world where the standard weather sites are bloated and cluttered, this app makes me smile every time I use it. And it's a weather app. Wow indeed.

Great weather app. I had the weather Channel for years but it had malfunctioned so badly with the latest update I couldn't keep it any longer so I deleted it. I found this and love it. It's accurate and detailed but easy to understand and not convoluted like some other ones I've tried. No ads pop up and the graphics are great. You can customize the widget too!

Initially seemed like a useful app with a tiny footprint, but has turned out to be one of the biggest space hogs on my phone. All I want is to have weather info available when I need it. I do NOT need 126mb of pictures wasting my phone's internal memory! I kept the app as long as I could because I do appreciate the low data usage and lack of ads, but no improvements have happened with the storage, and I can no longer afford to keep this app on my phone. Very disappointed. π Uninstalling.

This weather app is so good I almost don't want to tell you about it. It's very well done and graphically has a nice, clean look to it. The customization of layout personalizes the information to your preference, and the ability to choose the weather provider dials it in to an almost perfect weather app. The pictures are a nice touch and chosen well, but personally, I'd like to make them even smaller, or have the ability to turn them off. The developer seems legit focused on a great product.

Pretty good. But I'd prefer to be able to go the hourly page when I open the app rather than the overview page. I like the range of widgets which are also configurable but who needs the time to be displayed on a widget when it is already displayed on the phone. Same goes for the location. This space could be better used to display an extra weather parameter. If it did, I'd give it 5 stars.

The location on the widget is so precise, that when I walked from my apartment suite to my friend's, it showed her address as well as my mom's place who lives in the country. I haven't had too much time to really see what this app is capable of, but so far this is the best app I've ever used. No ads, no glitches or bugs. I like how I can have it set to show the Real Feels temperature. Great customization options. Very convenient and i would like to congratulate the developers on this app.

I'd pay for such good meteo ap. It seemed too heavy at first (too much info). But I found them pretty usefull over time, and it doesn't make the basic infos harder to find/read. The widget is especialy good for daily use.
