I enjoy the game but uninstalling due to the shady ads. I don't want to see a 30 second ad and then have it take me to the play store page for that app and when I close it I then have to wait 5 seconds before I can close the ad. If you say 30 seconds, don't add 5 more seconds after taking me to the download page that I didn't wish to go to in the first place. Secondly, I'm tired of these apps implying that someone can win over $1,000 in a few hours. If that was true nobody would have jobs. Bye!

tequila Addicting game. However it continuously has a bug that keeps any gold coins from accruing in infinity missions, intercept, ads, or campaign missions. Only way I'm getting gold coins is through the 10 a day ads in the treasure chest or crate menu. I'm on Google pixel 4 android 11. Customer support email for the developer doesn't work. Getting tired of resetting the game or my phone for the bug and losing all progress. Have a feedback forum for your customers.

film Bugged out! Been playing for a few months and have built up a decent collection of planes and upgrades but have a major bug which makes the game useless. When I complete a campaign mission nothing happens, the plane just keeps flying over empty scenery forever! Also weirdly both Daily Quest and Campaign Chest show 0 missions completed but both have full yellow bars and flashing red dots as if both were fully complete. No log out option to see if that would resolve. Help please.

lyrics it's a fun game for what it's supposed to be. it's very similar to Capcom's 1942. but it's not the same. it's kind of a money trap. You get the P-38 in the first mission, then you have to shell out ¥1,200 or roughly $12.00 for the P-38 or else you get stuck with a Grumman Wild Cat or Hell Cat. it's pricey for the game players. Great game to pass the time. I gave it 3 stars because things like the bonus lucky wheel that's worth 5,000 a spin . I tested it and spent 50,000 game money and landed on the minimum each time. This game has epic potential but is soooooo buggy! Trying to do special event and the medals dont load in the stages! Starts ok, gives about 130 a stage but then bugs out and only drops 24 per stage, or doing attack or intercept, the game crashes returning to the main screen and you lose all of the medals you have collected in the session, I lost 2000 in one hit. If the bugs and crashes weren't there, this would be excellent. I'm using a samsung galaxy tab a if developers want to test. Shame

My only complaint will not really complain it's fine but using a large tablet it would be nice to play it in landscape mode having to play it upright is kind of uncomfortable with a device that's large and if the device is too small it's too hard to see what's going on

Worst friggn game! Sucks you in good. Don t spend money on this game. The rounds just get more impossible no matter how much you spend to beef up planes and wingman. You can t even buy what you want, they make you open boxes and waste gems on something you don't even want. Plus, even if you win, you still have to pay these 5 things to proceed to next round. Complete friggn con of a game! I m so disappointed with myself, lol I spent 250 bucks all for nothing. This game is a complete cash cow.

Enemy planes are sometimes the same color as the background or light in color making them too hard to see. Bomb/Air Raid button is not mapped to keyboard or Right Mouse button. Instead you have to leave your plane unattended to click the Bomb/Air Raid on-screen button. I spent all the gold I'd caught on spread fire guns, but when I went to play those upgrades were nowhere to be seen. Game just isn't as good as the original arcade classic.

I thought it was a good game until it wouldn't let me play anymore. When I select a level to play, the only plane that comes up is a KZ-521 costing 25000 coins and 5200 gems. This is the second time it has happened, i removed and reinstalled after the first and lost my game progress. I had sent a message to the game developers with no response. The game seems to have frozen as medals/coins/gems all at 100. no achievement screen. January 10th still nothing

Graphics are too busy!! There's too much going on in the gameplay's graphics. It makes it hard up really see what's what at times. Sometimes you inadvertently run into items that you think are friendly because you can't instantly tell the difference between enemy fire and friendly collectables. Needless to say, I uninstalled it almost immediately!

If I could, I'd give no stars. I love the top-down shooter genre, and the resurrection of the old console game was exciting... until you start playing. I literally find myself spending more time waiting out ads, many of them not optional, than I do playing. I can only imagine what the revenue is like for the amount of ads based on this game. I've never seen another game based around ads anywhere near as much as this. Shame, as it's a decent retro game, otherwise.

Fun game with lots of replay value but it quickly becomes evident that you will need to spend money to progress. The harder levels need the costly plane upgrades. I can stomach paying 99 cents to maybe 4 dollars, but many upgrades are well over that amount. So, if upgrades were cheaper, I would be playing more, but due to the cost (even on holiday sale), I'll have to put this game on ice for a while.

Control is lousy, the translation is ridiculous, the power ups don't actually make a difference, you'll still have to watch an ad to continue and finish each level. Then there's one you've got no choice about after each level. And the one you can watch to double the earned stars? Doesn't actually do anything.

Forced to watch 30 second commercials way too often! I couldn't play anymore, you get nothing for all the ad watching, no free coins or gems or anything, so disappointing. The graphics and gameplay are great, what you would expect. But, this game is just like every other scrolling vertical shooter, I mean the menus, the bonus game stuff, the freebies, the other stuff, all virtually the same. Kinda boring there, but it's the same game with a different theme. it's fun, just way too many ads.

Good game but too many ads(ad fest, sometimes 2 ads before and after any move you make). You can only go so far before running out of coins to play. The developers seem to think people will spend £39.99 buying an airplane, no thanks(you have to be tripping some serious balls to pay that). Maybe a one off charge of a few quid for the whole game, it is only a mobile app after all. No one wants to spend a fortune on a mobile app.

The new update is worse than before. There is no use of gold coins. Plus it needs too many gems to update or buy anything. There are no boosters which were present in previous version. As compared to enemy ships and planes, my plane is not at all powerful. You have put restriction on infinity to up to 3 times, that's a bad idea. Improve the game please. Was fun till about lvl 25 or so, when I was pretty much forced to spend my hard earned gems on upgrades instead of a new plane to progress. My plane wasn't powerful enough to get much further than level 30, and I'm not gonna grind away for weeks to save up enough gems to uprade/ buy new plane. I wouldn't mind paying around 5-10 dollars for a mobile app, but those packages they sell in game are obscenely expensive. I didn't find the ads annoying at all, there wasn't an unusual amount.

I had high hopes for this game, but with increasing frustration, I decided to uninstall the game after "several attempts". @ higher levels, the game itself seems to "freeze up" & you can't move your plane in the direction you want it to go in so as to avoid incoming fire & you wind up being at the mercy of some enemy or other & your craft winds up biting the big one.

The game is fun. It is a classic. There are a few house keeping problems. You are not rewarded for events. The goals are clearly defined but nothing is paid out at the end of the event. By the time you can afford the osprey, you've completed 80% of the game and the osprey isn't worth the gems. You're better off updating the sabre. Why is this? Also, at this point in the progression, you probably have 10s of thousands of repair components and NOTHING to spend them on and no conversion.

I really like this game and even more since the recent upgrade. I like that you can use the bomber as your special attack as I felt the lightening before wasn't very effective!!! I also like the upgrades to the weapons on each plane and the fact that the drones are by your side for much longer!!! However since I wrote my last review I feel that the quality and game have dropped. For example I get hit by invisible bullets or when I am not even close enough to get hit.

Had 300.000 gold, 3150 gems when they just disappeared when I started playing today. Thats a big, big flaw that needs to be corrected fast. It takes some time building up alot of gems and gold. A bug like that is unacceptable. I am very disappointed. As of 3Sept cannot access PVP mode, special event mode, as well as other game play modes really???, especially when it says server not available. Your E-mail for support is not valid. Fix these bugs.

Congrats on your big UI update. Now everything I preferred about 1942 vs 1945 is gone. Less upgrade categories (where's my gem and gold refund??!), no free prize wheel spins. I used to be able to make progress w/o spending cash, so I guess that was an issue. Where ever will I find another shooter with 'retro' graphics? *Update* Now it's buggy too! I thought maybe I'd try some harder levels after reading other reviews after the June 29 update, and it freezes. Sweet.

Great Game But Glitched. Played the game for probably 100 hours now. Got the high score on my phone but it didn't register on the scoreboard. Really choked after playing the game for 9 solid hours. You can't pause the game for too long or it ends the game. Emailed the developer but didn't hear back. Glad I didn't spend any in game money.

The game itself is OK but would require you to pay to advance very far. The PVP is a complete joke, at several points I have completely lost the ability to kill the enemy planes, have also noticed that the bomber also becomes ineffective when this occurs. On one occasion I was able to stay alive long enough to have it return to normal. I have Lost matches several times because of this "glitch", been in the lead by several thousand points only to stop collecting any because the AI just won't die

Medal missions pulled 3 days early. I was well on my way to getting some of the great free stuff at the higher end of the medal mission, after putting in countless hours over the last 10 days. After doing the intercept missions, there we no longer medals available through either standard missions or the wave missions. I feel kinda robbed. Sort this out please, and I'll reconsider my one star.

I deleted the game. I spent money on upgraded planes and now I can play at all. I have emailed multiple times with absolutely zero response. I cannot find anywhere in game to request help. It is not showing any gains, progress or letting me start new stage. I am stuck on level 4. Don't sirens any money here. I spent money on an upgrade plane and its now gone. This game is boring and is not at all challenging. The controls are garbage, the flavor text is broken English, and it is very obvious that this is just a cheap way of getting kids to pay with mommy's credit card so they can acquire skins and stat boosts. In 1942 Arcade Shooter one can only find the cancer typical of mobile gaming where the game is just a poorly made attempt to funnel money into the producer's pockets in exchange for digital "items" that should be unlockable achievements.

It's not bad,but everything is very expensive. If you acquire say "35000" stars (avg. 150 stars per level-300 with a boost which is a micro pay if you run out) and go to purchase the plane, it then tells you it requires more stars. Doesn't state that on the price tag, and of course you can always spend 10, 20, 100$USD to get said plane. The controls are not to bad,but a little sticky. No option to turn graphics down or up. Don't get a lot of points towards your Google play account either. The prices need to be nerfed, or the stars increased.

I tried emailing the developer but the email bounced back. I love this game, I play it daily. But now there's a big since a couple of days where I am unable to select any plane. I am on version 3.78. All the upgrades I had done on the other planes are gone. Only the default plane is showing and to upgrade anything you need 12345 coins. When you select to play with the default plane, the level loads but the plane does not load. So you see the enemy planes but not yours. very weird.

Frustrating. Good game, but got to the point like a whole load of these shooters that move on as you battle, where it just overwhelms the screen, you have little to no room to manoeuvre and you're mashed up. It's an OK game. I was able to beat it completely only having 1/2 of the planes and I only use 2 of them. You have to upgrade each one to make it useful and that requires copious amounts of gems. I stopped playing for months and only logged in to get the daily freebies. With that, after 3 months, I was able to buy 2 whole upgrades for one plane. That's it. Paying is faster, but you could literally get the daily freebies for a year and barely upgrade ONE plane. Not balanced, I'm afraid.

cons: advertisements that are the full 30 second, non skippable ones after every attempt. at the end of each level/attempt you have the option of watchibg an additional 30 second advertisement fot 2x the amount of stars (currency) you collected. watching these ads does nothing to your stars or points. after you defeat certain enemies, a bonus star is teleported straight to your plan during gameplay, however, in the heat of battle you can not distinguish those from enemy fire. chaos ensues

I enjoyed this game as a kid, still do. A couple of things are needed though. On each level, when planes are destroyed, gems are not gained and are slow in coming as the game progresses. Also, when switching phones, you lose the progress you've made and need to start over. Then whatever you purchased, you have to repurchase. Also, the graphics keep changing. Lastly, you can't buy the better planes once you reach the max in upgrades.

The game is VERY buggy, with graphics glitches and pop ins and pop outs. In terms of game-play, the stages are rather poorly designed, with enemies arriving from behind (where your finger usually is when you play on a mobile phone) and a pretty large collision box. The micro-transactions are a joke with over 4000isk for a plane .. a plane that is not even a notable improvement over a 500isk plane. The game feels and looks like a poor reskin of something put together with a generic 2d editor. Also, advertisements after finishing a stage, advertisements within stages, and advertisements all the time. Also a lot of bugged ones that do not even give you the promised benefit after watching (like spin the wheel or refill fuel) All in all VERY disappointing .. considering the amount of vertical shooters on the play store .. this one is one to avoid!

I have been enjoying the game for many months. There are however many, many frustrating bugs. I would not spend money on this game as unlocked vehicles have become locked again without warning. Also am unable to access pvp, special events, or the final two aircraft for many months (even though the final two aircraft and their wingmen have been unlocked for months). Tried to send an email to the publisher detailing bugs with attached photos, but the email bounces back. Enjoy the game with ads.

This is a fun game. Made a few purchases to improve some of my planes. Trying to unlock other ones with the free gifts doesn't work or when I purchase them with diamonds. The game is good but I've set myself 2 years of daily grind , watching ads, playing mssions etc to get enough gems to complete all planes and weapons. Its a shame really as Skyforce was much more balanced and you achieve every goal within 3 months. I have noticed with each new update that things slightly change, for example Intercept missions were a lot easier a few weeks ago and theres a massive disparity between the number of coins and gems you can collect compared to the assault mission, and the intercept can be completed in 10 mins compared to an hr for assault. The latest problem after the last update is that the game keeps complaining you can't watch ads then it'll work, this is the best way to collect free stuff. Some more balancing definitely needs to go into the game and some additional levels wouldn't go amiss. All in all its a good game so I shouldn't be too harsh as its free

I really enjoyed the first version and was ok with watching the ads to receive gems etc. But now with the recent update, it seems that my plane does not perform the way it used to (need to shoot a lot more to kill), and you need to watch a lot more ads in order to open loot boxes etc so you can receive gems and gold in order to power up your plane... Level of difficulty increases a little too fast, gaining the stars (necessary to make upgrades) is slow and tedius. The game goes from challenging to very difficult in just the first few levels. Some constructive feedback to the game designers...don't be so stingy with the stars, and most importantly don't make level 3 feel like it's really level 88's evil twin! Maybe an easier beginner mode?

At first, the game is great. Good old 1942, however after longer play you realise how unbalanced the game & reward system are. If you don't buy blue diamonds for real money, forget about getting high quality planes/weapons. Playing long hours only gives you minimum coins or diamonds (if you buy them for coins). But the most annoying is the lucky wheel - 1 ticket costs 5000 coins and you usually (8\10) win only 10 diamonds which is minimum. Too many more negatives to mention, hence 2stars.

Game broke. Unlocked the second aircraft, upgraded it, went to use it, level starts but my aircraft never loads in. The level just keeps progressing and the enemies spawn but my aircraft never loads. I quit out and tried again. Same thing. It keeps charging me the energy so even just trying to fix this myself by changing settings or closing out and reopening is costing me that. Even if I ever do get it to work, I will be out of energy and unable to play anyways. Also, load times are way too long

The game starts ok looks great playes well but then the poor balance kicks in. You need gems and lots of them and the in game payout is low so unless you buy your in trouble. Then the event you need medals to progress I've found that a particular level will give 140 several times then without any explanation it starts to give only 40 across all levels so again poor game balance that makes you coin to grow. I don't mind spending a little but not often. As for bug there are plenty.

Player Mig put your device in a slow motion mode and it becomes extreme hard hit to kill/play. Player Clayton N put free fall planes in a loop around you u till he catches and passes your score to win game. Game immediately end once this has been accomplished. It takes alot of time without buy gems. Maybe 1yr.

Fun but frustrating challenge. Wish they'd change the power up system. You have to shoot drops to change what weapon power up you get. I know it was like this in original game, but in original game you could stop shooting. This game you can't. Power ups also block your bullets and tend to get stuck on top of what you're trying to shoot. Expensive loot, but I've been getting by just watching ads here and there.

Basic side scrolling shooter, let down by a few basic features firstly there is no instructions so everything has to be figured out by trial and error, power ups are shootable and after taking a certain amount of damage change type sounds like a good idea until you realise that also means any enemies behind a power up are completely blocked by the power up and given the amount going on on screen that usually means your dead, finally there is so much clutter on screen you can't see the game

The game isn't as good as the Nintendo version. The game quickly gets harder so that you either have to "grind" by watching af videos to get gems to level up your ships and have days where you wont win one new battle because your ship isnt strong enough. This makes the game challenging in a frustrating way. OR you can pay to upgrade your ships and win that way. The coins and event points look very similar to enemy bullets so good luck not killing your ship by accident

Dont waste your time the devs dont seem to care about this app anymore. Hellcats been busted for more than a month with no attepmts to fix it. Game freezes and you lose that round of whatever you were doing with no credit for mission. When you do the daily intercept the higher you score the longer it takes to get your rewards up to 10 mins for me and you cant play during distribution. If you leave during the distribution of rewards youll lose them. Id give this a 0 if i could. Pathetic really...

fun game but to hard to get better planes. takes to long to upgrade. losing interest fast. plus when you go after the supply plane i never get any gems once i destroy it wth. the game kills time bit needs improvment. its almost impossible to upgrade to the jet because it costs so many gems and you hardly get any gems as rewards. plus the adds are rediculous way to many it gets annoying fast i usually quit playing because they and get annoying

Don't switch phones! Even if you connect with Facebook, very little information carries over. i suppose i should be glad that it remembered any of the purchase that i made, but in today's gaming era, not being able to seamlessly switch over to a new phone and keep any of my game data and history is a serious flaw.

if you love ads then this is the game for you. you will spend more time watching ads than playing. ads, ads, and more ads. to bad, i liked this game. am uninstalling due to ads. good job devs. not even worth rating, i give one star across the board only because i cant post review unless i do. probably have to watch another ad too.

Hi ONESOFT! Id give the game five stars..BUT the ads that give freebies do not work? My magnet , +2 stars and other stuff dont add up to my options....and the 2 boxes after 2 hours doesnt work...ive been having those problems since day one...but i still keep playing since its a good game. Was fun, then two levels after the first boss my plane quit showing up on the screen. I couldn't do any thing, it really confused the enemies, they didn't know where to shoot. So I'm uninstalling, may reinstall later and see if they fixed it yet. Samsung S7

Great game, except when you buy a new device. You lose items purchased beforehand. I am aggravated by this , and can't do much about it. Game is fun, but I spent money that vanished into thin air.

Good game generally but... Things keep disappearing, i had over 90 boosts yesterday, this morning 14, i also have less medals than yesterday for the event by around 1.5k. I do not trust the developer or this game. It cannot track the things you earn and i certainly would trust them with any thing i pay for.

Avoid!! Awful game. Poorly designed, poorly built. Can't actually play without paying money, even though it's free. Game is soo glitchy that you have to restart it after every round, otherwise it takes your money and you get nothing!

I spent 99cents to remove ads a couple of years ago and it has been a great game since. PvP is new for me to try now ty edit for reply: dont get me wrong the progress is a bit slow or a lot expensive but it is actually very enjoyable playing to get things and i finally am on at the right time to challenge the event with full attention!!

I love the art style, but 90% of the game's menus is just for purchasing. It's spams you with video ads whether you like it or not. The "money" is beerly pointless like the upgrsdes and such. Good for a small.time.waste, but in the end just another ad spam game.

Pay to play bs. Not to mention this game is super glitchy when the screen gets busy with enemies. The developer is more concerned with raping your eyes (ads) and wallet (pay to play) than making a quality experience. Update: developer deletes bad reviews.

Fun and addictive game but... After spending countless hours and spending quite a bit of money over the last several months all my data is gone. My upgrades gone! New aircraft acquisition gone! It basically started me from scratch... Kind of a cr*ppy feeling if you ask me.

Great fun in the WW2 Genre, flying war era aircraft and even an experimental plane, all of which existed. Fun game and fairly mindless so you don't need to think too hard. Requires quick response times and focus. Plenty of opportunity to upgrade the aircraft and do more damage. I recommend.

It's a fun, mindless, ever changing game that has been tested over time. Only wished there was a way to stop the constant firing and allow controlled shooting so one can tell where the enemy fire is coming from amidst the stars, power ups, and incoming fire.

its fun. grafix are a bit messy and i miss sound effects from the the plain engine and shooting. other then that i like it.# !update! #after the new update the game is useless. the plane i bought is now so underpowered that its imposible to gett past even the small ships, the levels with only ships are a nightmare.

fun game but it if you die you have the choice to watch an ad to continue, doesn't work. you can watch an ad to get double stars, doesn't work. after you watch the ad, you dont get the reward. Completely broken game. Only lets you play level 1 on easy difficulty, over and over again. All other levels and difficulties are locked. Huge waste of time. And, no, I will not help you to fix your broken game.

I was just starting to like the game and after the update level 22 won't start for me( planes aren't coming from the top of the screen and it's an endless level with the plane going forward).So I can't continue with the missions . Fix it if you can.

This takes me back but I remember it differently, less options, the old arcade version was just shoot move dodge. This is a good game. Okay graphics. Bit small for a samsung 5s but still fun. Well done.
